Willow dyeing

Teri Dyes are just perfect for dyeing willows.  It is easy to do - just bring the water to boil in a large pot, add the dye (I add 50ml per 60 x 5' rods) and then let them come back to the boil for a short while, depending on how deep you want the colour.  I usually dye the tips first, putting them right down into the pot, then I turn them upside down and put the butts in - about half the quantity, so that the dye doesnt boil over).  These willows will be used on our next coffin, where the client has commissioned the coffin with dark burgundy willows and a satin burgundy lining.
