Go Willow Coffins
Our aim is to weave beautiful, hard- crafted, eco-friendly, willow coffins. Our willow is grown locally in Pakawau, Golden Bay. Each coffin has a unique, subtle combination of willowy colours: tan, chestnut, khaki and green. The lid features a stained wood inset panel for decoration or for friends and family to write messages.
We offer a medium size and large size Coffins. The construction uses an untreated ply base, there are six handles made from manila rope which allow the coffin to be carried, lifted or lowered - and our coffins can carry upto 150 kgs in weight. Our coffins can be used as part of cremations, natural and standard burials.
Go Willow coffins are fitted with three layers. There is a base liner made from recycled wool, followed by a bio-degradable, waterproof, cornstarch layer and finally unbleached, fitted calico linings for the base and lid - plus a pillow.
if your coffin is going to be used in a cremation, we affix a Glide Panel (made of 12mm untreated ply) to the base of the Go Willow coffins so that they can glide along the rollers at fully or semi-automated cremators. Price $75.

Commission your own Coffin
You can also commission your own coffin, whether it is needed immediately or to be stored until sometime into the future.
You can decide on the willow colours and size of the coffin. You can provide the linings for us to affix, or decide to provide and affix the linings yourself.
We need approximately one month to make a coffin to your specifications. Prices do vary depending on what is required, but a quote can easily be provided. Once you have decided on all the details and paid for it, happily there are no family arguments or worries about what YOU want.

Biers
A willow bier is an economical, eco-friendly shroud bearer for folk who choose a shroud for burial or cremation. The base is untreated ply and the top structure is woven willow. There are 6 strong Manila rope handles. We include a waterproof, biodegradable cornstarch base liner.
As we don’t provide shrouds, you must provide your own sheet, blanket for your loved one.

The Dream Canoe Bier
The Dream Canoe is a beautiful, whimsical, romantic bier. Size L 180cms x W 152cms. Hood 30cms. Weight 8.6kgs. Price $950 plus transport.
The Dream Classic Bier
The Dream Classic Bier is a simple yet beautiful craft. Size L180cms x W52cms x H12cms cms. Weight 6kg. Price $590 plus transport.
Willow Urns
Willow Urns and their lids are made specifically for each customer. The size, colour and range of materials are made to order.
White Urn.
Made with white willow, maize cord with seagrass and antler toggles, keeping lid and base together.
Size: Base 20cms, central diameter 25cms , height 30cms. (Ashes capacity 2 litres). Price $300 without liner.
Turquoise Urn
This willow urn has been made with natural and turquoise-dyed willows, with a fitted lid.
The pattern and colour of the willows can be altered to suit your requirements.
